Papua is the western part of the island of New Guinea, one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet. The Flora Malesiana Symposium will be held jointly with the 1st International Nature-based Climate Solutions Conference, where participants will discuss and explore the latest research on the flora of New Guinea and the wider Malesian region, as well as the crucial role of biodiversity for climate solutions and community welfare.\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Flora Malesiana 11, Brunei, 2019<\/h2>\n

The Universiti Brunei Darussalam hosted FM11 from the 30 June to 5 July 2019.\u00a0 The symposium brought together over 300 participants from 23 countries, including key regional stakeholders and scientists working on the taxonomy, systematics, ecology, cultivation and conservation of the Malesian flora.<\/p>\n
